New member-- unable to stream the videos. It has been this way for over 12 hours.

With Quicktime get an error message: "Quicktime is missing software required to perform this operation. Unfortunately, it is not available on the Quicktime server."

With Realplayer: "Invalid data header in file. The file is unreadable"

I know both work at other sites.
WinXP, Explorer, DSL

Thanks.

So using a similar configuration I have no trouble. Is this happening to you with all the videos or just some?

It would appear to be all of them. Both players start by buffering, with the error messages popping up right when you would think it would start to play.

Very strange. I'm unable to duplicate the problem on any operating system with any player or browser. This has been reported by one other user, but no one else. I'm guessing there are people who are just not posting about it.

If anyone has more information, please let me know.

Jon

I also cannot stream videos anymore. I use DSL, RealTime S/W. This has been going on for several days. I noticed when I tried using the example in one of the drop down menus, I was able to stream. But when I try to go to another film.....echhhhhh.!
Also I noticed thatI did not log out for several days, I went to log out now, and I show logged out. Then I tried to log in, no luck.

Try this.. choose a file to stream, click on the ral link..
When real boots up I ALWAYS get an error mesage.
DON"T CLOSE REAL MEDIA!
Just try streaming it again.
It should play then.
